Well as fortune has it, I submitted an art portfolio for the Scholastic Art & Writing competition, and won a Gold Key award! I never win anything so this is good news to me.

Pyro! Anyways, I tried to do something a little different here. I cut the canvas part out (slicing my finger in the process) and glued it down to a wood panel where I had painted some flames. It’s sorta neat, because it gives it just a little bit more dimension.
